papaya leaves can fight cancer? Some of the greatest cancer scientists in history believed that enzymes can treat and help prevent cancer. Papaya leaves have an enzyme papain. Old school thought is that enzymes help digestion. New medicine in the last fifteen years has proven in clinical studies that enzymes taken by mouth (oral enzymes) can make it past your stomach to treat and help prevent cancer. In the lab and in clinical studies papain has proven to be a cancer-fighting enzyme. Papain is found in the papaya leaf and in many cultures is brewed in a tea to fight and prevent cancer. Papain has been proven in labs and in clinical studies to eat away the protein fibrous coating on cancer cells so that your body can kill the cancer. Papain can be purchased at most drug stores, but the enzyme is most active at about 150 degrees F, a perfect tea. Traditionally, the dried leaves of the papaya have been boiled for a tea for cancer and other treatments. It may seem for many Americans that coffee-maker preparation is more regular than brewing tea. So we offer the idea to make a “tea” by preparing the leaves through the coffee maker as coffee grinds are. A whole pot can use as little as a teaspoon of leaves in the filter. The tea tastes very much like green tea. Enzymes have very few side-effects and still are as natural as orange juice. Most people feel more mentally alert, and when taken on an empty stomach, often euphoric. Papaya leaves are natural and the FDA considers herbal remedies for enzyme therapy as GRAS (generally recognized as safe). Many studies have been done proving the positive effects of enzyme therapy during cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation. Enzymes help your body digest “dead” foods that we eat which often become toxic to our bodies later in life. Our bodies make enzymes from our pancreas, but our American diet overworks our pancreas by the time most of us reach age 25. Drink papaya tea for life! |
| This website cannot make any medical claim, but only report information that is free on the world wide web. Reference material is certainly available on request. WE have used our best effort to report information based on scientific studies by PHDs or MDs around the world, but have also referenced the numerous cultural traditional cures that so curiously back the science. The protein enzyme papain is only one of more than 3000 powerful enzymes for health, but this website focuses on the natural power of papain which exists naturally in the papaya leaf. CAUTION: This enzyme is not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers or those who are on any kind of blood thinner. As with any powerful enzyme, please consult your doctor to consider its safety for your body. Do not offer to children without your doctor's advice. |

| We're IN SEASON! Farm Fresh Dried Organically Grown Hand-Picked Young Leaves Grown in Thomasville, NC USA |
| Our young leaf farm is focused on leaves used medicinally for cancer patients. These are hand-picked and dried by hand in solar dehydrators. While we are in season, these are available in limited quantity. The cost of these leaves are high, reflecting the cost to grow, and harvest and current demand for this specialty. Young leaves and their delicate stems are very high in healing alkaloids. These leaves when brewed have a potent taste (maybe an acquired taste). We recommend that if the taste is strong, then to mix with other teas which you are familiar, or a nice mint. Very small amount of tea leaf is needed to brew a pot. We recommend drinking at least three times a week. The science has shown systemic effect of the tea after three months of regular use. Questions?
